DJ | SHANGO
DJ Shango a Burning Man DJ, a Philadelphia, DC & Jersey based DJ,
Bringing indigenous and world sounds that uplift, enlighten and open the chakras, Shango brings his vision to life through the motion and raw power on the dance floor. Art and music collide, healing the audience of their traumas using movement, chanting, mantras, crystal vibrations, live drummers, and tribal body art. Shango’s ancient futuristic artform creates a constant flow of physical and ethereal release within the audience, purposefully increasing the power and influence of the healing energy directed toward the crowd each event, creating a massive healing movement in Philadelphia and beyond.
Shango is the founder of The Organic Mindz Tribe(The OM Tribe) consisting of spiritual healers, energy workers, Dj’s, and volunteers, all in sympathetic resonance, journeying towards one aligned purpose: healing themselves in order to heal the world. Together, The OM Tribe host Spirit Quest, a monthly Ecstatic Dance and Sober Healing Party that combines crystal meditation, sound healing, live Dj’s, guided indigenous movement, and Yoga, introducing the participants to complete mind, body, and spirit alignment.
Shango intends to continue fortifying his spiritual works, praying that he can help to bring light and love to as many light beings as he can. Through his music, art, spirit practices and positive energy, Shango will be a beckoning light for all those looking to bridge the gap between spirit and music! And so it is (Ase’)

VENICE BEACH | ON THE SAND AT THE END OF ROSE AVE
We dance on the sand at the end of Rose Ave, in-between the lifeguard towers. The closest address is “1 Rose Avenue, Venice, CA”. From here, head onto the sand towards the water and you will see us gathering in between the lifeguard towers.

Come dance, move, express, and connect while enjoying incredible music in some of the most beautiful locations across Los Angeles.
Join us in a welcoming space where you can dance freely and experience healing, inspiration, emotional release, and transformation through the power of movement and embodiment.
Part silent disco, part healthy dance party, part rave, and part intentional conscious dance experience – our events are centered on movement for wellbeing, joy, and community connection.
THE FLOW
Each event begins with an opening circle, offering a moment to connect, set intentions, and ground ourselves in presence. From there, we take off into a 2 hour musical wave, building in intensity and weaving sounds and rhythms from around the world.
Discover a deeper connection to yourself, to life, and to others as we dance by the ocean together in paradise, moving to electrifying and transformative DJ sets that will leave you inspired and uplifted!
DANCE FREELY WITH HIGH QUALITY SOUND
Move as you please, with plenty of space and high-quality sound. Whether you choose to dance closer to the group or at a distance, our headsets have a range of up to a mile, giving you the freedom to find your perfect spot to dance and enjoy the music.
WHAT MUSIC IS PLAYED?
Each week features live DJs bringing a vibrant mix of musical styles and tempos designed to activate the dance floor and inspire movement in all its forms. Expect a blend of: Global Beats & Rhythms, a tasty range of House Music, World Music, EDM, Afrobeat, Cumbia, Bass Music, Reggaeton, melodic instrumental sounds, sound healing to close, and lots lots more!
WHAT IS FREEFORM DANCE?
Freeform dance means there’s no right or wrong way to move. The dance floor is your space to explore movement freely, guided by the music. It’s an opportunity to listen deeply to your body, flow with your emotions, connect with others without the need for words, and feel elevated by the euphoria of release.
Whether you’re an experienced dancer or simply curious, you are welcome to join us just as you are.
